Our client, a new and modern restaurant serving authentic Indian cuisine, is looking for a Curry Chef to join their team.
Main Responsibilities/Key Tasks:
— Prepare a range of Indian Curry dishes using the traditional techniques, herbs and spices.
— Ensure the dishes are prepared and presented at the highest possible standards.
— Aid the senior Chef to achieve the restaurants budgeted food costs.
— Ensure the food items are stored at required temperature and timely temperature checks are done.
— Report any defective equipment or safety hazards within the kitchen.
— Ensuring relevant items and ingredients are available for production. The candidate will also be required to assist the Head Chef in other day to day kitchen tasks.
— The suitable candidate must have relevant experience of working in a similar environment/establishment and must be able to work in a team or independently using your own initiative.
